SAWA - Usucha Grade Matcha

Usucha, or “thin tea,” is more approachable and everyday style of matcha. It’s prepared with a smaller amount of powder whisked vigorously into hot water, resulting in a light, frothy beverage with a refreshing foam on top.

Our Usucha Grade blend has a pronounced umami richness. The savory, brothy depth that lingers on the palate, making it ideal for casual sipping.

How to Prepare:

Sift 1-2 g of Usucha Grade matcha into a bowl. Add 70-80 ml of hot water (70°C-80°C). Whisk vigorously in a “W” or zigzag motion for 20-30 seconds until frothy.
